So this is my attempt to put down the current pieces I am working on. Either as bigger projects or where stories are linked. (If this ever looks like its a mess, just remember this is the written version!)
The Bus Driver
This is a story about a lady called Agatha and her decision to apply for a job that she has found in the local paper. Her husband Andy, is supportive, but not overjoyed that she is leaving retirement after a successful career as a social worker. But she decides to apply to become a Bus Conductor.
Status – In 3rd edit and complete rework.
The Full Moon
This is a project to create stories inspired by the different full moons of the year. The first one can be found here – The Wolf Moon. There will be 12 stories for the 12 Full Moons of the year.
However, there is also the Blue Moon and the Black Moon. So the current count is 14 short stories for the final piece.
Status – Still being drafted out.
The Utwelda series
This started off as a historical fiction idea. Then developed to have goblins, dwarfs, separate human kingdoms. There is a whiteboard covered in ideas for a story. I’ve lost track of how many sub pages are in my OneNote file for this.
Its called the Utwelda series as has ties to early Middle Age England in some ways where the King of the Kingdoms was called Bretwalda. I have created religions, games, mythology and more for the races, communities and peoples of the world.
At some point this will move from concept to story
Dystopian Short Stories – Name to be decided
If there is ever to be a project that will require a reader to get to the end before turning around and throwing slander at me, this is the one. Watch this space.
